Environmental legislation
It is structured in laws, decrees and resolutions, with the objective of establishing a legal regulation before individuals, companies and government (union, states and municipalities) and the environment.
Environmental legislation establishes the limits and boundaries of responsibility towards the ecosystem and the legal and social counterpoints for the acts performed.
Environmental standards can be edited by municipalities, states and the federal government, with the exception that municipalities and states must follow the guidelines of the federal government.
Exemption from Law L1.022 (CETESB)
Three-year exemption from all requirements of Law L1.022
Environmental legislation allows the practices of public or private organizations to respect and preserve natural resources, as well as their impacts on social and environmental interrelationships.
In addition to legal demands, there is a very important aspect to be taken care of before ecologically conscious consumers, who seek to interact, consume, applaud or cancel companies that are inconsequential with their actions, acting in an unecological way, polluting and/or degrading the environment.
In this sense, we present two great news for our customers:
1st) Exemption from Law L1.022 (CETESB) and all its requirements
2) The processes used by Workgen Biotech do Brasil are exempt from all requirements of "Law L1.022 of November 2007, CETESB" as it uses:
- Accelerated bio-remediation,
- Bio-augmentation of microorganisms native to the area/process to which it is specifically applied
* Exempt because it uses micro-organisms native to the treated environment to remedy the contaminated area or effluent flow.
** This law establishes the necessary conditions for the treatment and remediation of liquid effluents, solid waste and remediation of soil and water by biotechnological processes, excluding bio-stimulators.
Important to qualify for this exemption:
Registration with the required supervisory body is required (CETESB 02/2010 / TLTM of 01/04/2011), which can result in a three-year exemption from the requirements set out in Law L1.022 of November 2007, CETESB.
